Pinterest Inspired Scrapbooking Project

Oh how I love Pinterest! When I was sent this image to work with for a Bella Blvd project I knew immediately what I wanted to do and I knew I wanted to use the Tiny Tots collection.

 With two kiddos in preschool I have already used a ton of this collection. I added a chipboard alphabet as the main decorative element on the page.

It's been a standing joke that the kiddos aren't learning anything at preschool. They both come home with tons of projects, activities, stories, and songs they've done at preschool...yet they both say they haven't learned anything. Silly kiddos!

The Tiny Tots collection is now in stores. You'll LOVE it, I promise!

Pinterest Inspired Project

A couple of weeks ago I was given the assignment to create a layout using Bella Blvd products and this image as inspiration.
 
I immediately fell in love with the photos. I mean, it's a photo of a stack of cardigan sweaters, of course I fell in love. I couldn't wait to get started. I also knew exactly what collection I wanted to use, Hello Autumn. Cardigans remind me of Autumn and so do the colors in the photo.
I started by cutting randomly sized strips of patterned paper to create a background and then adhered them to the background just like the stack of sweaters.

After I got the background finished I built the rest of the layout on top

I used a doily as the base for my photo and journaling.

Life Paper Scrapbook Color Challenge

Hey Everyone, thanks for stopping by today. The project I have to share today is close to my heart. If you don't already know I have 3 kiddos but I sometimes say that I have 6 kids. I get to tend my sisters 3 kiddos 4 days a week. The question I get asked most often is "How do you do it all?" The answer is, I don't do it all. I do my best to make sure the kids are happy, clean, fed, and respectful but a lot of the time that doesn't even happen. I found the quote for the title of this on Pinterest and immediately pictured this layout! It's so true, I love all 6 of these little people so much!!

I followed this color challenge for Life.Paper.Scrapbook. Manda has the best challenges and there's always a fantastic prize involved too.

 lots and lots of letter stickers and lots and lots of journaling cards went on this project. I love the results :)
