Hello there stash buster friends, I hope you've found your way here from Audrey's blog! I'm so excited to be joining the "scrapping our stash" blog hop for the very first time. I can't wait to share my project with you. To shake things up a little bit I filmed a process video.

Life at Our Home
A Life at Our Home post is long over due. (You can find my last post HERE). I'm so excited for this Summer. All of the kids are out of school. It will be a quiet, lazy Summer for us. We're planning very few events/vacations. We're going to have picnics in the park, read LOTS of books, watch a few movies, we're going to play with cousins (a lot), and just be for a couple of months. This past school year was a busy one for us. I spent SO much time running kids to and from school it seemed that I was always on the go. I'm ready for a break!
My little man graduated from Preschool today. I can't believe it. FYI I was NOT the mom sitting on the front row sniffling with streaks of mascara down her cheeks (I was in the second row, ha ha).

Paint Pens & Just Add Color
We're so close to Summer vacation at our house. My older kids are officially out of school and my little man only has 2 days of school left. Summer vacation is right around the corner for us. I can't wait! I'm so ready to not be running out the door every couple of hours to run kids to/from school and school activities. I'm ready to have some quiet days at home with my kids. We don't have any huge plans for this Summer. I'm envisioning picnics in the park, cousins coming to play, a few afternoon naps, and a lot of time to work on my scrapbooking projects. I spent a lot of time planning and dreaming about projects I want to create. I can't wait to get those ideas onto albums.
Over the weekend I did get some time to play with the new Just Add Color collection from Bella Blvd. I've already blogged about the basics of this collection (here). In a nutshell, this collection is primarily black and white so that you can, "just add color". This time I added color with Elmer's Paint Pens.

Pebbles Cottage Living Layout
I've been terrible about sharing projects that I've created for the Pebbles Inc blog. I have so many fun projects over there and I LOVE their products, especially the collections by Jen Hadfield. Jen's most recent collection is the Cottage Living collection.

"Pancakes" a Scrapbooking Process Video
Who loves Saturday mornings? Uh, ME. That's the one day of the week that our family can sleep in and take things a little slower. Have you seen October Afternoon's Saturday Morning collection? It's centered around the laziness of Saturday Mornings and has so many fun elements. A lot of elements in this collection have images and phrases about pancakes.
I created this layout and a process video to go with it.

National Scrapbook Day with Pebbles Blog Hop Giveaway
If you're a fan of giveaways, today has to be one of your favorite days. There are givaways galore today and my blog is no exception. I'm hopping today with the ladies from the Pebbles team and we have fun givaways on all of our blogs.
I used a mix of the Home+Made collection and the Cottage Living collection. Both of these collections are inspired by Jen Hadfield of Tatertots and Jello. Jen's collections are some of my favorite products to work with. I love the bold graphic designs and I have a lot of fun working with the incredible embellishments that come with both collections.

Page Maps & Bella Blvd
If I have the opportunity to work with a Page Maps sketch, I jump on it. I love working with their sketches. I've worked with their sketches a few times before (here and here) and if I ever need a sketch, the Page Maps website is where I look. This time the Bella Blvd team and Page Maps are teaming up. I LOVED the sketch Becky sent me. Isn't it so much fun? I think one of the things that makes this sketch so much fun to work with is that it's easy to take this sketch and "make it your own." I used the We R Memory Keepers 3x4 Punch
to create all the 3x4 cards. I had my reservations about this punch but I've fallen in love. It's so easy to use and saves a ton of time. It's one punch to create the card with perfectly rounded corners instead of cutting each side with a paper trimmer
and then rounding the corners.
