Paper Crafter's Library Feature

A few months ago I was asked to do a project for the Paper Crafter's Library. I had so much fun creating a display of projects for my home. Here's a sneak peek of what I created for them. I can't wait to show you the full project. Make sure you stop back by on Sunday for the full reveal.

There are so Many Beautiful Reasons to be Happy {Bella Blvd}

The first manufacturer I designed for was Bella Blvd. They are so amazing to work for and I adore Stephanie's designs! I love bright colors and the bold graphic design in their products. Their mid season release is now hitting stores. I've been playing with it for a few days now and have had so much fun! Here's what I came up with when I was challenged to create a layout using the new collections. I mixed two collections (Classic Calendar & Scattered Sprinkles) to come up with this layout:
The blue portion behind the title is done with gelatos. I wanted to put an extra emphasis on the word "happy." The title was fussy cut from the 'B' side of this piece of patterned paper:

The new collections are arriving at the Paper Issues Store. You can find all of them HERE

If you use the code becki20 when you check out you'll get 20% off your entire order.

Here are some detail shots of this layout. (funny side note: I created most of this project while sitting in the car watching my little man's little league game. It was awful weather so I stayed in the car and fussy cut the title while I watched...how's that for multitasking! ;)

Thanks for stopping by today! Happy Wednesday!

One of *Those* "Mommy Moments"

I remember the moment I took this photo so clearly. We were at a baseball game and the weather was finally nice enough that we could venture out of the car to watch the game. My two little kiddos ran out on the grass with a book and sat down.
My little girl started reading to my little guy and I had one of those nostalgic "mommy moments" where I thought, "They're growing up too fast!"
I documented these thoughts with the Plus One collection by Amy Tan for American Crafts. (aren't those black thickers amazing?!?!)

I outlined the hearts with a black pen and put foam adhesive underneath a few of them.
And here's the completed project:
Squish your littles today! They don't stay little nearly long enough!

Get Your Game On

Good Morning! Spring has finally arrived in Idaho and that means little league season. We spend hours and hours every week at baseball games and practices. As a mom I'm sure you know where I'm coming from. Last season was a little bit rough for my little man. This year seems to be shaping up much better. I'm so excited for him he's been playing first base and pitcher. He's having so much fun! When he's pitching my heart seems to jump into my throat. I know he feels a huge amount of pressure and I feel it too. I'm so proud of him!

I created a layout using one of my favorite photos from last year. I love the look of concentration on his face.

I used lots of bits and pieces from American Crafts on this project from the DIY collection, Polka Dot Party, the Plus One collection, and even a little bit from the Cut & Paste Collection.

I can't seem to complete a project that doesn't have some kind of ink splattered on it lately, I love ink!
Does your family spend hours and hours on the baseball field or do you spend hours and hours at another sport or activity? How do you document it in your scrapbooks?
