Pebbles Cottage Living Layout

I've been terrible about sharing projects that I've created for the Pebbles Inc blog. I have so many fun projects over there and I LOVE their products, especially the collections by Jen Hadfield. Jen's most recent collection is the Cottage Living collection.

I love the bold designs in this collection. They're so clean and bright. The color palette in this collection isn't one that you'd typically think of for a Spring layout but I think it worked beautifully.
The inspiration for this layout came from the floral paper in the Cottage Living collection (see supply list below). This layout began when I started fussy cutting around those flowers. The rest of the layout came together after I got the flowers cut. When I'm fussy cutting I always have my American Crafts Scissors. These scissors have a sharp fine point. I love them!
I used the flowers to create a diagonal line from the bottom left hand side of the page to the top right hand side of the page. I used the flowers where that diagonal line intersected with my title to create a continuous line.
The last two elements that I added to this layout were the large gold letter stickers and the journaling above the photo.
My challenge to you is to start the next layout you create by fussy cutting a piece of patterned paper and to put your journaling above your photo. Are you up for the challenge?
