Echo Park Paper and Imagine Crafts

Hey friends, today I'm playing along with product and designers from Echo Park Paper and Imagine Crafts. You should have arrived here from the fabulous Neva Cole. (Full blog hop list can be found at the bottom of this post.)

Fall cards are among my favorite cards to create. I decided to make a bunch of leaves with Carta Bella Ultra White Felt cardstock,  Imagine Crafts Fireworks Inks (Potters Clay, Cantaloupe, and Bamboo Leaves).
I started by smooshing ink onto scraps of cardstock using all three different colors. I made sure to let the cardstock scraps dry completely so that the leaf dies didn't tear the cardstock.
I used all three leaf dies from the Autumn Day collection. I cut lots of leaves and adhered them to a white cardstock base starting in the top left corner and trailing to the bottom right corner.
After adhering the leaves I splattered a few drops of ink all over the front of the card. In retrospect, I should have done this before I stamped my sentiment. It turned out well even though I stamped the sentiment after the ink splattering.
I love how this card turned out, I can't wait to make more of these cards with the leaves I have left over. Now, it's time to hop on over to Monica Edwards.  I know she has something fabulous in store for you.

Make sure to leave a comment on all the blogs in the blog hop so you'll be entered for a chance to win the prize.

The blog hop starts on October 7 at 9 a.m. EDT and ends on October 9 at midnight EDT.

Here's a list of the entire blog hop (just in case you lose your way).

Summer Blog Hop

Hello, welcome to the Summer blog hop! I'm so happy to have joined forces with some amazing designers to bring you some fabulous double page Summer themed layouts.

I chose to  make my layout about my son at the park. The funny thing about that time at the park was that we were there for about 5 minutes. Yep, we were there long enough to go down the slide a couple of times and go down the fireman pole. I documented this because of a lesson that my little man taught me in those short five minutes.

National Scrapbook Day with Pebbles Blog Hop Giveaway

Isn't it cool that scrapbookers get their very own day and today is the day! It's {Inter}National Scrapbook Day. You should have arrived here from Eva Pizarro's blog.

If you're a fan of giveaways, today has to be one of your favorite days. There are givaways galore today and my blog is no exception. I'm hopping today with the ladies from the Pebbles team and we have fun givaways on all of our blogs.

I used a mix of the Home+Made collection and the Cottage Living collection. Both of these collections are inspired by Jen Hadfield of Tatertots and Jello. Jen's collections are some of my favorite products to work with. I love the bold graphic designs and I have a lot of fun working with the incredible embellishments that come with both collections.

Top Ten Scrapbooking Projects of 2014 Blog Hop

As 2014 comes to a close I'm joining forces with 23 amazing bloggers to bring to you hundreds of fabulous projects from the past year. I'm so excited! I know we were only supposed to show our 10 most favorite projects but I couldn't narrow it down to 10. I've got 12 projects to share with you!
  1. Happy Halloween. This layout is created with the * Bella Blvd Halloween Magic collection...Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Bella Blvd?!?!
  2. Little Critter Love, I have a fun story to tell about this layout. Somewhere Mercer Mayer (the author of the Little Critter series) saw this project on my Facebook page and commented on it. It made my day! I'm kind of a nerd ;)
  3. I created the layout "Childhood Memories" for a Lets Talk Tuesday post about documenting Childhood Memories when you don't have any photos. I used *
October Afternoon's Public Library collection...it's a must have for a family full of bookworms.
  4. Lil Stinker is a Halloween layout that I created using a Valentines kit (Gossamer Blue). I never would have guessed that I could use Valentines themed products with a Halloween photo. I love the results!
  5. "Hello" was created when I challenged myself to use every letter of the alphabet on one layout. A back to school themed project was the perfect place for lots of letter stickers. I think everything on this layout is from American Crafts
  6. She Loves Horses was created from a Paper Camellia kit. This layout has tons of the * Maggie Holmes Style Board collection on it. I'm a sucker for all things Crate Paper.
  7. Christmas Program is another Paper Camellia project. I love the photo of my little girlie on this one!
  8. Family Time is created with the * Bella Blvd Hello Autumn. This collection is ah-mazing! It has the most adorable elements. I've used it over and over again. While we're talking about using things over and over, this is a sketch that I love and have used many many times.
  9. Storytime is the 2nd layout I created for a Lets Talk Tuesday post on being inspired by layouts that you see on Pinterest. The layout that I used as inspiration for this project has been pinned almost 2,000 times...just from my board (you can find the layout HERE). Wow, that's a LOT!
  10. Mustache Smiles was created for another Lets Talk Tuesday post about using ALL of your letter stickers. This layout is one of my post popular.
  11. Our Kids is the first layout that I created for my Inspired by Pinterest post. I LOVE how this turned out. I used the * Family Forever collection by Bella Blvd. (Another one of my favorite Bella Blvd collections.)
  12. Little Man is created with the * Tiny Tots collection by Bella Blvd. It's about my little man turning 5. I'm still a little teary eyed about this little man growing up!
That's a wrap for my 2014 scrapbooking/blogging projects. It's been a great year but I think 2015 will blow it out of the water. I have so many fun things coming up!

    Elle's Studio Blog Hop

Welcome to stop #1 on the Elle's Studio blog hop! I'm excited to share with you a layout I created using the Sycamore Lane collection. This is the perfect Fall/everyday collection. On this layout I used it as an everyday collection. It's about my son and his Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwiches. You can't get more "everyday" than having a PB&J!
The journaling on this layout documents how much my little man loves his PB&J and how he tears the crust off the sandwich before he starts eating. (He also loves a glass of chocolate milk with his PB&J lunch.)

I used the grid on the background paper to create a large diagonal line to draw the eye to the title and photos. Here's the completed layout:
