Stamped Thanksgiving Cards

If you're a regular visitor of my blog you know that I'm not much of a stamper. I love the look of stamps. I try to make them work for me but I'm just not good at it. Today, I changed that. I created some adorable stamped Thanksgiving cards for the Scrapbook Expo blog. Yes, I actually did it!

My sweet friend Mendi recently started her own company called Sunny Studio. Mendi is so sweet, she's one of my online friends that I would LOVE to meet someday. She has the most adorable stamps and dies. I used a couple of her stamp sets to create these fun Thanksgiving cards. I mixed these stamps with the Pebbles Harvest collection. I used a basic black ink and an acrylic stamping block. It's also important to have a pair of really sharp scissors . The "thankful for you" card on the far left is colored with Tombow markers .

Make sure to stop by the Sunny Studio to get your own stamps. You'll love them, I promise! and then Hop on over to the Scrapbook Expo blog and check out how I created these cards.

I have to admit, I'm pretty excited that I have a stamping success. Is there a particular tool or design that you struggle with?

Darling Photos {mini album tutorial}

Good morning! Happy Wednesday! I hope you are well and making it through the work week. Things are going well here. Spring is on it's way, I just know it's coming! I went to yoga class last night, one of my classmates was telling me that her tulips are just starting to come up. I'm so excited for warmer weather.
Yesterday, I had a tutorial on the American Crafts Blog. I created a mini album using the Plus One collection. I will admit that this project did give me a grey hair...or maybe two, but it was so worth it! I adore the finished product and so does my little lady.
Here are a few photos and then you can hop over to the AC blog and get all the details HERE.

Thanks for stopping by. If you have any questions about my mini album or my creative process. Just click on the "contact me" button on the right. I'd love to chat with you and answer any questions!

Love for Little Critter

My little man loves little critter books. I mean he loves loves loves them! We check them out at the library, we buy them whenever we see them, we watch Little Critter You Tube videos, and we download Little Critter Apps on the ipad. When my mom told me that she found him a stuffed Little Critter for Christmas I knew it would be an immediate favorite!
When I sat down to create a layout with this photo I knew I wanted to make a big impact about how much this little man loves Little Critter.
 I created this layout for Elle's Studio. The "love" stamp is a January exclusive. I stamped it with versamark ink and embossed with gold embossing powder.

Do your kids have a favorite storybook character? I'd love to hear about it :)
