Finally...SNOW

It was only a few flakes, not even enough to cover the ground but Austin and Kay got their snow stuff on and were ready to build a snowman. There wasn't quite enough snow for a snowman but they sure did have fun!LOVE those goofy grins!

Once in a while....

I have a day where I actually feel like I got something accomplished. With lots of kiddos filling my house most of the time I feel like I'm shoveling snow while its still snowing as far as household projects go. I did manage to get tomatoes canned, tomato sauce made, bread baked, cookies baked, and chicken noodle soup made for all the people in my house that had a nasty cold.

3 of my Valentines. I sure do love them...dirty faces, full mouths, cheesy smiles and all. They are great kids!

I have to be honest, Valentines has never been my favorite holiday.
In fact, I really didn't like it. It wasn't until Kayleigh was born that I started to like Valentines day. Since Kayleigh was born Valentines at our house has been a fun day for the kids. We make Valentines and have a fun dinner.
I made Paula Dean's Taste's like Lasagne Soup and Garlic Crostini. It's so yummy and is so much easier than making lasagne). The kids think it's great because I actually make dessert (This year it was chocolate covered strawberries and brownies).
The kids had a ball making Valentines for Dad and Grandparents.

Glue Glider, where have you been all my life?

I bought one of these the other day and now I'm wondering why I've waited so long...

This is my new favorite tool. Now, I've go to stock up on refills.
