AC_PolkaDotParty.AllEmbellishments

Aren't those ribbon photo corners and bows adorable? I already have plans for those.

Here is one of the projects that I included in my application.
(It is also published in the 2nd issue of Life.Paper.Scrapbook Magazine.)
I combined a few different collections to create this layout but most of it came from the Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic collection.

My favorite part of this project is the stitching. I've been doing it on a lot of my projects lately. It's a great way to add texture to a project.

I *LOVE* Thickers! You'll be seeing a lot more of them in the future.
See you soon!

Teaming up with Clearsnap and Scor-Pal

I was so excited to work with the Scor-Pal tool. It made making these flowers a breeze! I created the background and the paper I used with the flowers by stamping with a roller stamp, embossing. Then I sprayed the paper with water and used Smooch inks and Stephanie Barnard Spray inks. It gave the page a soft water color effect. Then I took long strips of paper and and used the scor-pal tool and scored the strips at 1/4 inch and folded them and glued the ends together. I then used a hot glue gun to glue the flower to a scrap of paper so I could attach it to my project. The finishing touch is a little bit of bling in the center of each flower.Becki_Adams_Clearsnap_Scorpal_Team_up_Pink_2 Becki_Adams_Clearsnap_Scorpal_Team_up_Pink Becki_Adams_Clearsnap_Scorpal_Team_up_Pink_1 Becki Adams Clearsnap CT Photo

I'm Hoppin with Kiwi Lane

Welcome! I'm so glad you found your way here! I'm so excited about the project that I have to share with you today! This is the first time that I've had the chance to work with Kiwi Lane products. I'm hooked. These templates are so easy to use! I got to work with the Wacky templates. I immediately fell in love with the cloud shaped one and as you can see I went a little crazy with it.

I love this photo! It had been such a long wet miserable winter here in  Idaho that I was so ready to pack my bags and head to Arizona...or really anywhere that was warm! I was sitting in my car at the bus stop with my kids waiting for the bus to arrive and I snapped this photo with my ipad.
I'm a bit of a letter sticker junkie...I used a lot of them to create my title.
These butterfly paper clips are from Prima. I love them. I may be hoarding another package in my stash, maybe...

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! Kiwi Lane is genrously offering a $25 gift certificate to one lucky hopper so make sure you leave a comment here so you can be entered to win!

Also...I have a little something for one lucky reader. I have this adorable pink album from We R Memory Keepers AND a set of the same templates that I used to create this layout. Celebrating the 4th of July with Bella Blvd

Hey Everyone! Happy 4th  of July (well, almost). I have a layout to share from the Bella Blvd blog. I was sent this image to use a inspiration...
What inspired me about this photo was the essence of the photo. To me this photo is all about a bright happy picnic sort of a day so I chose to create a layout with a picnic theme. I started this layout by creating a large yellow sun. I created the sun my misting a piece of white cardstock with yellow mist and then stitching around the edges with bright orange embroidery floss.
The journaling block didn't turn out quite as I intended it so I ended up hiding the journaling behind the title.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! :) Have you tried hand stitching on any of your projects? I'd love to see. Leave me a link in the comments and I'll make sure to take a peek :)

The latest issue of Life.Paper.Scrapbook

The latest issue of Life.Paper.Scrapbook is up. I'm so excited about this issue. Manda does a fantastic job and this magazine is full of inspiration from designers all around the world! I have 3 projects in this issue. This is one of them. This layout is created from a kit from Paper Issues. It's the first kit that I've bought from them and I LOVE it!

I misted the background with Heidi Swapp mists and a stencil that came in the kit.
This layout is one of my all time favorite projects. Hop on over to Life.Paper.Scrapbook and check out the latest issue.
Thanks for stopping by today! :)
