It's Monday and there's a new issue at Paper Issues sponsored by Pinkfresh Studios. I created a colorful layout with Amy Tan's new line for American Crafts, Plus One. If you want something colorful, this is the line for you! Lots of color mixed with black and white.
The adorable little wood veneer hearts are from Pinkfresh Studio.
The journaling on this layout is hidden behind the photos.
I did lots of machine stitching along with some hand-stitching on this project.
Here's the entire project.
Make sure you link your projects using lots of color and anything that's "by the numbers" to the current issue (find it HERE) for your chance to win some goodies from Pinkfresh Studios.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Monday!

American Crafts Valentines Blog Hop
Happy Valentines Day!
Welcome to my blog for the American Crafts Blog Hop! I'm so excited to share a project about LOVE with you today. It's about love for shoes! I used the Dear Lizzy Polka Dot Party collection for most of this project.
I've been anxious to try die-cutting some of the transparencies with my Silhouette. It worked amazingly well! The little hearts are adorable. I hand stitched with red thread around them to make them stand out against the white background.
And here's the final project! I simply adore how it turned out! Now, even though my little lady's shoes are gone we'll have the memory documented in her scrapbook.
Now you're off to the amazing Ashley Horton's blog. I know she'll have something incredible to share with you today! Thanks for stopping by! Please click the blue button to the right that says "join this site" so you won't miss any blog posts!
{here's the full list of the hop so you won't miss anything}
Have a wonderful day!!!

Love for Little Critter
My little man loves little critter books. I mean he loves loves loves them! We check them out at the library, we buy them whenever we see them, we watch Little Critter You Tube videos, and we download Little Critter Apps on the ipad. When my mom told me that she found him a stuffed Little Critter for Christmas I knew it would be an immediate favorite!
When I sat down to create a layout with this photo I knew I wanted to make a big impact about how much this little man loves Little Critter.
I created this layout for Elle's Studio. The "love" stamp is a January exclusive. I stamped it with versamark ink and embossed with gold embossing powder.
Do your kids have a favorite storybook character? I'd love to hear about it :)

Bits & Pieces Made into Valentines
When I finished working with my goodies from Paper Camellia I still had lots of little bits and pieces that were Valentines themed. I decided to put together some fast & fabulous Valentines cards.
It took me about an hour to create all these adorable cards.
I kept all these cards super simple. This one just has one large embellishment and a couple of enamel dots. I added some stitching for a little bit of interest.
I added some silver glitter to some of the hearts on the patterned paper.
On this one all I added to this journaling card was 2 enamel dots and stitched around the perimeter.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you'll take a few minutes to create some Valentines with the bits and pieces you have in your crafting area.

Full of Hearts (Bella Blvd & Paper Issues)
If you're here for the Gossamer Blue/Elle's Studio blog hop click HERE.
Earlier this week I had this layout on the Bella Blvd blog. We were challenged to use more than 25 of one shape on a layout. I immediately had the idea to create a background with my silhouette and back the negative spaces with patterned paper. Well, that didn't happen. I actually had the background designed and was ready to cut it when my computer crashed. I was without a couple of days so I had to come up with a different plan...Here's where my heart punch came into the picture. I punched a little heart out of each of the patterned papers in the Family Forever collection.
I'm also linking this project to the latest issue at Paper Issues. It's titled "Fill 'er Up." I linked it because it's filled with hearts!
I added a grey heart behind each patterned paper heart and stitched them in rows to my white cardstock background.
I also stitched my chipboard letters to add a little texture and interest. (Stitching is also a great way to make sure your chipboard stays in place.)
And here's the completed layout! :)

Elle's Studio & Gossamer Blue Blog Hop
Good Morning! Welcome! I'm so glad you made it! You should have made it here from (the amazing) Anabelle O'Malley's blog
I was excited to team up with all the wonderful ladies from Gossamer Blue. This kit is packed full of amazingness! My favorite parts is the Elle's Studio exclusive stamp! (I'll show you how I used that in a minute)
I created 2 layouts and will be creating many many more! I have a TON of product left.
Let's get started! Here's my first project :)
I used the stamp set for my journaling. Mixing fonts (and colors) makes the journaling so cute and much more interesting to look at.
I went out on a limb for this next project and created a layout with a Halloween photo using Valentines projects. I LOVE how it turned out. This is one of my favorite photos. My niece made an adorable skunk!
I used the stamp set for the journaling on this project too.
This little yellow strip of polka dot paper is an exclusive paper from the Gossamer Blue kit. It's adorable!
