I'm an Aunt x 2 and a layout to share

It's been a crazy busy couple of weeks at our house. I got a new niece & nephew in the last two weeks. My nephew is doing great. I don't have a photo of him...yet. My niece is doing fantastic and is so adorable. She gives the best snuggles. Isn't she the sweetest thing. Her mommy has had lots of complications but is doing well now. I'm such a lucky aunt/sister. I'm so glad they are both healthy and doing well now.

Anyway, this little lady and her mommy are the reason I have been MIA in the blogging world. Things are settling down and I have a few minutes (with this lil lady laying on my lap) to share a project today.

This is a layout I did for my little lady. She is an *amazing* kiddo. I really do feel lucky to have her. My favorite part of this layout is the striped background. I created it with lots of washi tapes, glitter tape, ribbon, and fabric trims.

I love the extra texture that all the layers on the background give this layout. I used some Jillibean canvas flowers, My Minds Eye stickers and flowers, Studio Calico wood veneer, and a few chipboard accents to embellish this layout.

Thanks for stopping by. I would love to hear from YOU, make sure you leave a comment, I'll answer. I promise!
I hope you have a great day....until next time :) I

  1. Oh Lordy, that 'lil baby is THE sweetest thing. **sigh** Love babies. Kinda sorry that we'll never have any more. I have a heart that would fit more but my head starts screaming at it to quieten down! LOL. No headspace but lots of longing. Congrats to her folks and to you! As for your little K, I CANNOT believe how big she is. You must be feeding them steaks in your part of the country! She is a beauty :-)

  2. Thanks Ali! I'm a very lucky Auntie and Momma! I love LOVE babies too. It's wonderful to have one around when I wasn't the one who had to survive the pregnancy and be the one who stays up with her all night ;)
My kiddos are getting so big. Your comment about steak made me laugh. They love steak and wish we had it more often...they do get their fair share :)
BTW, you should make a quick trip to Idaho. You could have lots of snuggle time with all the babies that are around here :)
