Sometimes, I make mistakes, we all do. Recently I made a mistake, unfortunately, this mistake made it all the way to CHA. Do you see it?
Yeah, I didn't either...until some one at CHA pointed it out. *sigh*
Yes, I left the "s" out on preschool. I really wish I would have caught the error before I shipped it off to Bella Blvd headquarters to be put in the CHA booth, but I didn't. So, I'm a little embarrassed but laughing a little too.
I did recreate the layout. I used the same photos, title, and journaling. I did change the products I used just a little bit but it is all still from the new Star Student line from Bella Blvd.
See...I do know how to spell "preschool." ;)
My favorite thing about this line from Bella is that it works with kids in preschool and works for kids in high school too. I'm excited to just buy one school themed collection and be able to use
it for all of my kids. (My kiddos are in middle school and preschool.) Although if you do need line that is more specific to younger kids the Tiny Tots collection is perfect for preschool/elementary kids. I've created several projects with it as well. I even did a proccess video using the Tiny Tots collection, you can find that HERE. HERE's another project you might like too.
The scalloped apple circle thingy is a new project from Bella Blvd called Invisibles. They are so fun to work with. They're one of those products that you have to see in real life to really appreciate. They're a thick plastic with an opaque finish. You'll be seeing me use a lot of them on my future projects.
I guess that errors can happen to the best of us. It's happened before and it will happen to again, I'm sure! I'm sure I'll say "that was embarrassing" many more times!
Have you made any errors on your projects that have become more public than you would have liked, please tell me I'm not the only one?

What a bummer! I did this once with the word Curiosity (I didn't know you drop the U in curious). I still love both the layouts and there's a good chance your kids and future generations would never notice flipping through. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to know that I'm not alone Mendi! I'm sure my kids wouldn't have noticed. I'm sure if they did it would just have given them a good laugh.
DeleteHaha! I don't think I would have noticed if you didn't point it out. Oh well!
ReplyDeleteI obviously didn't notice, LOL. Not many people did. I'm kicking myself for stitching the letters down, that made it totally unfixable ;)
DeleteOh man! Way to own it Becki :)
ReplyDeleteLOL, thanks Christine!
DeleteHaha it don't think I would have noticed! Love your pages!!
ReplyDeleteI totally didn't notice. I will pay much closer attention to my spelling in the future though.
DeleteHi Becki ! Your layout "November photos" was the inspiration layout for the jumpstart at our German scrapbook forum. My take is the 3rd layout here
ReplyDeleteIt was fun to lift it.
Frauke.
Wow, Frauke. Thank you! I'm off to take a peek at your project!
DeleteSo adorable and I love all those great layers on both layouts! I make those kinds of mistakes all the time...I have a lot of layouts I need to correct....lol
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to know I'm not the only one. I think I would have left the mistake had the project not been going to a trade show. I think the mistakes I make will make my kids laugh in the future.
DeleteBOTH pages are adorable!! And yes, I make mistakes all the time...but I love that in scrapping there's usually a way to cover it up and fix it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cara! I can usually fix my mistakes too...I'm kinda kicking myself for stitching the letters down...it's not an easy fix this time ;)
