I chose to make my layout about my son at the park. The funny thing about that time at the park was that we were there for about 5 minutes. Yep, we were there long enough to go down the slide a couple of times and go down the fireman pole. I documented this because of a lesson that my little man taught me in those short five minutes.
I used lots of Bella Blvd products on this layout. I combined patterned papers from the Campout collection and the Simply Spring Collection kits (you can find a full list of supplies at the bottom of the post).
I used three 4x6 photos and lined them up across the page. Two of the photos are on the right hand side of the page and one is on the left hand side next to the title and journaling.
I used my sewing machine to stitch down a few accent words that I fussy cut from a piece of patterned paper from the Campout collection. I love stitching my layouts. I almost always do some sort of machine stitching on all of my projects.
The journaling on this layout tells the story of how I need to slow down a little bit and let my little man play at the park, even if it's only for five minutes.
