When I sit down to create, I usually start playing with patterned paper and embellishments before I even choose a photo. I always have a stack of photos that I want to create with on my desk (you can find out more about that HERE). Eventually all of the photos in my basket gets used and all of those stories get documented. The story I'm telling today is about my daughter and her love for babies. I LOVE babies, they're so soft, cuddly, and smell like a slice of heaven. My daughter has inherited that love for cuddling babies. Mmmm.... right, back to the layout. ;)
The she blooms collection has been in my office for a while now and I've been dying to play with it. Once I got started playing with this collection, I knew it was perfect to go with this photo. I used the new chipboard from Bella Blvd (links below). All the new script chipboard comes white, which is perfect for adding your own colors. I chose to paint "love" in black paint.
You'll notice that I often stitch the chipboard with my sewing machine. This serves two purposes. It adds an awesome bit of texture and it keeps the chipboard in place.
This collection made the perfect way for me to tell this story with this adorable photo. Thanks for stopping by. Happy Thursday!
