I think we all need a reason to smile. I created a layout using the Bella Blvd Color Chaos with a photo of my niece and me. I wish you could all meet my niece. If there was ever a person in this world that could make people smile, it's her! She's hilarious and is the most endearing little girl you'll ever meet. In this layout I wanted to document the story of her being the reason that I smile. In the journaling I talk about how she has the gift of happiness and that she is the reason for so many smiles.
I used the Bella Blvd Color Chaos
collection and lots of Bella Bows to create this bright, fun, happy, layout to match her bubbly personality. For the title of the layout I fussy cut the words "be the reason someone smiles" out of patterned paper. I adhered it to my layout by stitching it to the background paper with a sewing machine
and white thread.
And here's the entire layout:
I took the photo for this layout on my iPad. Paige had been sitting on my lap "helping" me with a scrapbook page. I had my iPad propped up on my desk so she could watch Curious George
when I decided to turn the camera on and take a quick selfie of the two of us. I LOVE this photo. It's certainly not the best quality but I still love it, I thought it was a perfect photo to go with this story.
My question for you is: Have you made someone smile today? I know that's going to be something that I work on. I want to be the reason someone smiles.
Thanks for stopping by today! Here's a list of supplies that I used on this layout:
